Where farming, nature and fun meet
Regenerative Farm & Guest Ranch
About Us
Cedonia Hills Farm was founded in 2019 by the Pate family who continues on with a rich farming history on this very farm where orchards and dairies have flourished since the late 1800s. Cedonia is the tiny town at the end of our road surrounded by hills and mountains. Located on the corner of Hwy 25 and Cedonia Addy Rd in Hunters, Washington, rarely a car passes by. We are dazzled daily by the beauty, the peace and the magnificence of Lake Roosevelt shining in the distance.
Our primary crops are Alfalfa and Orchard / Pasture Grass hay grown naturally in our lower fields. As we learn and grow, we look forward to expanding our regeneratively managed farming business.
Our small guest ranch will open June 2023 where guests who enjoy all manner of outdoor activities can camp and discover what we have found in Hunters, Washington.
Our Story

How did we end up buying a farm? Quite simple really.
We signed up for horse camp, an excellent camp by the way, in Hunters, Washington. We instantly fell in love with the unique and undiscovered beauty of the area and decided we wanted to spend more time in this place. So we did what any normal people would do, we bought a 200 acre working dairy farm.
Where most people see nothing but work (and they would be right), all we saw were possibilities. We're not afraid to admit there is a steep learning curve with mistakes too many to count. But we are happy to report along with these trials have been many successes for which we owe gratitude to each other and the many people who have helped and guided us along the way. So onward we go building a dream of a regenerative, organic farm and novel guest ranch experience for others to enjoy.
We are also here to be a part of "the solution". We believe that happy humans depend on a happy earth. Since we really like being happy, it seemed like a no brainer to buy a farm and create a sustainable experience we can share with anyone who wants to learn and enjoy the beauty of the area where we live.
Oh, and the dairy, it's no longer here. After decades of loving attention by its past owners, we are transitioning to other farm products and services.
